Minecraft's caves are full of both mystery and resources. Each world has many caves, filled to the brim with many caverns and cavities chock-full of precious minerals and archaic structures for the player to discover. With the darkness of the caves, they are often home to plethoras of hostile mobs, making them a dangerous place to be.

MONSTER ROOM
Monster rooms are dangerous rooms scattered around the occasional cave. Within them is a monster spawner and loot.
MINESHAFT
These long abandoned mines are mazes of track and stone. Within the average mineshaft, there is tons of loot and ore.
AMETHYST GEODE
Very purple and very pretty. These geodes are full of amethyst minerals, kind of self-explanatory. The amethyst is very cool and purple.
STRONGHOLD
Abandoned underground fortresses full of mystery and knowledge. Strongholds hold the portal to another dimension within, The End
ANCIENT CITY
Monolithic in size, ancient cities are a dangerous place to be. Yet they are full of incredibly valuable loot. These cities are inhabited by the strongest mob, wardens, making exploring dangerous.

Bat
This little fellow flaps and flaps and flaps!
Cave Spider
When you encounter one, be sure to have milk!
Axolotl
Those guys are so cool. You can get one as a pet.
Glow Squid
How did these guys win the mob race!? Interesting.
Tropical Fish
It's like fish but they're tropical.
Warden
It will kill everyone a lot. Bring a bed.
